fertility tests?
i have bought a fertility test where you can pee on a stick and it tells you if there are any problems with your fertility, its called fertell from boots and mine was neg which is good but just wondered what other people thought, i also bought one off the net reg ce mark and again wondered what people thought, are they accurate?
I would be cautious . . . from what I heard it only looks at your FSH level which has to do with ovarian reserve / the eggs that you have left for pregnancy.
It does not evaluate things like whether or not you ovulate, progesterone levels, the condition of your fallopian tubes etc . . .
I am assuming that it is accurate for what it does . . . but that is only one aspect of fertility. If you are ttc, then go for it . . . keep trying, chart your cycle, try an ovulation predictor kit etc . . . but if you are under 35 and have no success after a year contact a doctor who can do more testing. If you are over 35, wait no longer than 6 months.
